SplendidWords is the business name of Sharon Williamson.
Sharon became an Associate of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) in 2005 after successfully completing the Publishing Training Centre’s Basic Proofreading course.
She is continuing her professional development and has completed further training, including 'Brush up your Grammar', 'Web Editing and Proofreading' , and 'On-screen Editing 1' (SfEP) and the PTC's Rewriting Workshop.
Recent clients include Sunrise Setting Ltd, Bookcraft Ltd, University of Cambridge International Examinations, Abcam plc, The CV Centre Ltd and various individuals completing small projects, theses and dissertations.

Sharon graduated in 1998 with an Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences, and completed a Master's degree in Science Studies in 2003. Her interests include the biological and biomedical sciences, natural history, art and painting, digital photography, ‘the great outdoors’ and, of course, anything to do with language.

Sharon works in a well-equipped office, using Windows XP and MS Office 2003 on a PC.
